Open Discussion Group on “The Shambhala Book"

Six Mondays beginning April 29th, 6:30-8 pm

“The Sacred Path of the Warrior” is a guide to finding what is sacred, genuine and liberating in our ordinary experience of everyday life. It shows us how to practice meditation as a source of strength for daily living and spiritual growth.

In this context “warrior” means simply one who is brave. Brave enough to face the confusion and challenge of our human existence with the gentleness and fearlessness of an open heart.

The Shambhala book is the seminal instructions of the Tibetan meditation master Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and has been inspiring meditators for over 40 years.

This discussion group will focus on the first half of the book, “How to Be a Warrior.” It will meet for 6 sessions, discussing two chapters at each session. The group will be hosted by experienced meditators who have been mixing the Shambhala teachings with daily life for many years. Practical meditation instruction and support will also be given.

$25 for all six meetings, or $5 each time.  Patron pricing allows us to give scholarships to those in need.
