The Art of Being Human: Introduction to Meditation

    Through the practice of meditation, we discover a way to work with our thoughts and connect to the present moment. In this moment, we can discover a feeling of unconditional goodness. Opening to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.

    This program includes meditation instruction, talks, periods of meditation practice, and discussion.  Everyone welcome. 

    Friday, June 7th, 7-9 pm

    Saturday*, June 8th, 9 am-noon, 2-5 pm

    Sunday*, June 9th, 9am-noon

    Halifax Shambhala Centre

    Main Shrine Room

    Open to all.

    Saturday session will include a lunch break - there is space onsite to eat and enough time to visit a restaurant.

    *come early and enjoy a light breakfast
