Lineage III will resume with our study of Milarepa, but also cover the life story of Tibet's only female lineage founder, Machig Labdron, who was Milarepa's contemporary.
Because Gampopa only became a student of Milarepa later in his life and was a monk for many years prior, absorbing the teachings of Atisha and the slogans he made famous, we shall study Atisha and those slogans, contemplating them, before studying Gampopa as a student of Milarepa.
Each class begins with a brief meditation and walking meditation session in the Drala Shrine Room, then story and drawing in the Garuda Room, along with reading roles from the "Rain of Wisdom", singing lineage songs, map games, ID games, and making origami dragons!
