Welcome to Jeff Scott

We are very pleased to welcome Jeff Scott to the staff of the Halifax Shambhala Centre as our new Director of Path and Culture. Jeff is joining us from Colorado, where he recently spent 5 years as the Director of Practice and Education at Shambhala Mountain Centre, and before that 5 years as the Administrative Director at the Boulder Shambhala Center. Jeff is committed to the vision of the Kongma Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, and is currently a Scorpion Seal V and Vajrayogini practitioner. Jeff has extensive desung training as well as years of Japanese tea ceremony and ikebana experience. He is a dedicated student, and brings with him a depth and enthusiasm for a culture based on an open heart and mind. He is also a Shambhala Training Director and loves working with new students and helping them discover the tools necessary to cultivate their gentleness and strength.

The Director of Path and Culture is a new position at the Halifax Shambhala Centre. Representing the Pillar of Practice and Education, the Director of P&C sits on the Centre Council and guides the educational and cultural activities of our community.
