    Room: Main Shrine Room
The solstices and equinoxes are known as Nyida Days and mark the cycles of sun and moon. This solstice is a potent time to come together as a community, enjoy each other’s company and welcome the change into summer season!

Our Midsummer Day event this year includes an outdoor lhasang, a festive potluck and a special ceremony to celebrate our wonderful outgoing Director, Michele Munro. We will be witnessing her oath of retirement and expressing our thanks for her years of cheerful leadership and service. The ceremony will also include an oath and warm welcome for our incoming Interim Director, Kathryn Heckman.
    • 5:30 Outdoor lhasang behind the Centre (If it is raining we will have an indoor lhasang.)
    • 6:00 Retirement and Entering office oaths, in the Main Shrine Room
    • 6:30 Festive potluck with toasts and offerings
    •
Bring something delicious to share, bring songs and poems on a summer theme, and dress in your summer finery!

Friends, children and family are all welcome.
