The Radical Simplicity of Shambhala Meditation

For anyone seeking a life of fulfillment and benefit, there are so many paths and choices: Secular or spiritual, activist or contemplative, academic or pragmatic… The tradition of Shambhala has the depth of all of these, but also the simplicity and accessibility that is so necessary in our chaotic time.

In times of aggression and confusion, our tendency is often to worry all the time and scatter our energy. The wisdom traditions all advise the opposite: Settle, focus, and go more deeply into your own realization. This is not to escape, but to develop the insight and compassion to act wisely and skillfully.

Anyone with curiosity and the motivation to find their genuine heart is welcome to attend this weekend program. We will draw on the wisdom of Buddhism, Tibetan shamanism, the Quakers, Martin Luther King, and Karen Armstrong. In a gentle environment, we will learn the profound and simple practice of Shambhala Meditation. The weekend will include talks, practice, discussion and optional interviews.

***You can also attend just Friday Night for $25, please go here to register:***
