Kagyü/Nyingma Advanced
Vajrayogini Practice Intensive
Vajrayogini's Home for the Holidays
with Dorothee Rosen & Mark Nowakowski
Dear Vajrayogini,
You are invited to warm your toes in the blazing source of dharmas. Please join us for five days of practice and study of your sadhana in the midst of jolly old Halifax!
Dorothee and Mark will lead us in the practice, and point out some things they have learned along the way. We will practice two sessions a day, with some guided meditations.
There will be one daily teaching at 2pm on the view and practice with lively and provocative discussions. Each day there there will be an open practice conversation at lunch.
We welcome both fresh and seasoned yoginis. We will adjust the teachings to whoever is attending. We will also have some sessions for (re)learning specific parts of the sadhana, including mantras, mudras, and mandalas.
Lungs for some of the Vidyadhara’s practice texts and termas from Tibet will be offered.

directions, public transit, and parking
We are located walking distance from downtown Halifax, near several main bus routes, including the 1, 4, 7a, 7b, 10, & 29.
Parking directly in front of the Centre is currently only legal after 6pm and on weekends, as dictated by the City. We are working to relax these restrictions. On-street parking can be found in the surrounding area.
What to bring and what not to bring
Meditation is easiest when you're wearing clothes that you feel comfortable moving in and sitting in - be that in a chair or on a meditation cushion.
We strive to be a scent-free environment. In order to care for community members with serious allergies, please do not use products with ingredients like "fragrance," "parfum," or other indications of scents.
Please bring your travel mug and/or your water bottle. Help our community avoid single-use plastic bottles, please.
