Mahamudra Retreat
December 26-31, 2023
with Scott Wellenbach
This six day retreat is a rare opportunity to practice the profound teachings and pith practice instructions of mahamudra shamatha and vipashyana as they are presented in The Ocean of Definitive Meaning by the Ninth Gyalwang Karmapa, Wangchuk Dorje.
We will be guided by Scott Wellenbach, who has studied and practiced mahamudra under the guidance of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
Continuing on from previous Holiday Mahamudra Retreats (2015-2022), we will review and practice teachings on mahamudra shamatha during the first few days of the retreat, and then go on to explore the vipashyana investigations.

What to bring and what not to bring
Meditation is easiest when you're wearing clothes that you feel comfortable moving in and sitting in - be that in a chair or on a meditation cushion.
We strive to be a scent-free environment. In order to care for community members with serious allergies, please do not use products with ingredients like "fragrance," "parfum," or other indications of scents.
Please bring your travel mug and/or your water bottle. Help our community avoid single-use plastic bottles, please.
